Firstly, what you need to understand before playing Hattrick online, that it is a financial game, whoever thinks different won't reach big success.

Here are the tips:

1. Training type

Choose what you want to train. Won't get into much details, in my opinion it is best to train "defending" (you can train up to 10 total defenders). "Scoring" for forwards is also a good option. "Playmaking" for midfields was good tactics for beginners earlier (though not that profitable), but now it is not that useful due to hattrick changes regarding midfield possesion.

Other hattrick training types require more time and better understanding of the game.

2. Intensity of training, stamina

No matter what you train, always make "intensity of training" - 100%. Stamina training should be around 10-20%. If you have many old players, you can make stamina training little higher as they loose it faster than younger players.

3. Coach

Skill: Should be passable or solid. Otherwise it is not worthwhile.

Leadership: In lower leagues, it can be lowest. Later when team spirit starts to be more important factor, have it higher depending on your financial situation.

Tactics: Depending on coach tactics, the formation should be similar. If you have attacking type coach, make team formation more into attack (e.g. 3-4-3 formation), defending type - more in defence (e.g 5-4-1).

4. Finances and money

So how do you earn big money? Most profitable is hattrick skilltrading (training young players and selling them). Highest prices are at the beginning of the season (1-4 weeks of the season). Also trade ending on Friday evening will be more likely more profitable than ending on Monday morning.

Other people use hattrick daytrading (e.g. search players for lower price and sell then higher simpy by increasing base price and putting for selling on evening).

Make sure your hattrick arena is never completely full (as then you just loose money for not making extra seats).

5. Your players (team)

Put young players (17-18 age) into the training line, all other players (the ones you don't train for higher skill) should be ONLY old experienced players. Old players are much more cheaper, but still have high skills (though they are decreasing, it is still so much worth it) and wages paid to them are smaller too. High player's experience alone can help a lot. Also look for higher stamina players, as it is easier to raise form than stamina. Goalkeeper is pretty expensive compared to other players, so if you have pretty good defenders, your goalkeeper can be worse.

6. Staff

Have 9 assistant coaches and 1 goalkeeping coach. 1 Spokesperson for every 100-150 fans. Don't ever have more than 10 coaches of one type as it will loose the effect
